How to Make a Matcha Latte in 5 Minutes

Matcha Latte
A no-bullshit recipe for easy breezy matcha lattes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz milk of choice
- 1 tsp ceremonial matcha
- 1 tsp raw honey
Instructions
-
Heat up 8 oz. of your desired milk on the stove or in a microwave-safe mug until it reaches 175° F/80° C and is steaming hot to the touch.
-
Pour your heated milk into a blender with 1 tsp. matcha and honey to taste. Blend for at least a full minute to incorporate as much air as possible.
-
Pour into your favorite mug. Let the foam cap rest for a minute or two, allowing the deep matcha color to come through. This is a great time to take a picture of your cute lil mug of happiness. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
I recommend using a high-quality matcha like a ceremonial grade or culinary grade from a reputable source. After you open your matcha, you should store it in an an airtight container in the fridge to help prevent oxidation.
